Inaugural Issue (launching 11/12/18) interviews film critic Pamela Powell and filmmaker Laura Moss. Learn about their personal female film experiences in the upcoming digital issue, launching November 12, 2018.

Pamela Powell is a member of the Chicago Film Critics Association, the Broadcast Film Critics Association, the Women Film Critics Circle and Rotten Tomatoes.

She attends film festivals such as Sundance, SXSW, Toronto and Tribeca each year, looking for the next Academy Award winner and that hidden indie gem. Pamela is also cohost to a television segment with Chuck Koplinski on WCIA-3 in Champaign called Reel Talk with Chuck and Pam. 


Laura Moss is a director/designer from NYC whose work has screened at MoMA, SXSW, Tribeca, Sundance, Berlin and Cannes.

She was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film. She is an alumna of NYU’s graduate film program.

Rebecca Martin is the Managing Editor of Cinema Femme magazine and the Festival Director of Cinema Femme Short Film Fest. She founded her publication in 2018 because she wanted to create a platform for female voices in the film community. She has hosted film screenings in Chicago, led virtual panel discussions, Q&As, is the Cinema Femme Short Films Director, and has covered festivals like the Chicago International Film Festival, Sundance, Tribeca, and the Bentonville Film Festival.
