The Cinema Femme Short Film Showcase is in need of a virtual platform that best elevates the emerging female-identifying filmmakers we spotlight. The virtual platform we need your support in purchasing is Eventive. This is the ideal platform that would enable us to make the films, panel events and LIVE Q&As more accessible. The cost for the festival platform is $975 per year, and as of Thursday morning we’ve reached $550. As a small organization being funded mostly by myself, the Festival Director, we need financial support. We’re asking for donations $1+ to pay for all or part of the annual fee.
With your donation, you’ll be helping female-identifying filmmakers have sustainable careers. We receive submissions by womxn from all over the world, and we see a lot of emerging talent that we want to shine a light on through our showcase.
